Shannin L. Pettigrew

Combining her versatile experience in marketing, communications, and technical writing, Shannin Pettigrew has made a seamless transition into the financial world at Grant Street Asset Management. Her skill in articulating complex information across diverse audiences has been an asset to GSAM's commitment to clear client communication and service excellence.

As Marketing Communications Specialist, Shannin develops integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and drive engagement. She creates and manages content across digital, social, and print platforms, ensuring alignment with the firm’s messaging and strategy. Her responsibilities include campaign planning, media relations, digital optimization, and storytelling that supports the firm’s growth. She also partners closely with advisors to enhance the firm’s key tenet: Growing Legacies, Guiding Generations. Her thoughtful approach ensures consistency, professionalism, and measurable success across marketing channels.

​​Previously, Shannin served as Client Services Administrator where she offered behind-the-scenes support to wealth advisors, producing essential client communications and reporting documents. Her proficiency in CRM software ensured that every client interaction was meticulously recorded, facilitating smooth operations and effective team coordination. Moreover, her ability to navigate through various portfolio management systems played a critical role in gathering data to support both advisors and clients.

Shannin is a graduate of Penn State University where early on she learned the spirit of community service.  Over the years, she has headed up fundraising initiatives for organizations such as the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, Washington Humane League, American Diabetes Association, and Vitalant Blood Bank.  Shannin explains that giving back and volunteering are a very natural extension of her life.

Outside of GSAM, Shannin lives in Canonsburg with her husband, two children, and their beloved dogs.  In her spare time, aside from spending time with her family, she enjoys leading an active lifestyle and going to concerts, the theater, and local festivals throughout the seasons.
